Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Jean serves as an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York.
Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and the American Society of Cytopathology.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Purdue University in 2002, Dr. Jean went on to obtain his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. He then went on to complete his residency at the same educational venue, followed by his fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Licensed to practice medicine in New York and Ohio, the doctor is board-certified in cytopathology, anatomic pathology, and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABP). The mission of the ABP, as a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties, is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
