Titled “Nature’s Palette,” the exhibition will showcase Maag’s transformative work capturing the beauty of nature and life across the East Coast. The event aims to raise awareness on social justice issues through art and will be open for viewing at Art in the Storefront in Ambler from January 2024.
“This exhibit isn’t just about visuals; it’s about vision,” said Natalie Venezia, Executive Director of 365 Foundation. “Kristin’s unique perspective turns what could have been limitations into lenses that reveal hidden truths.”
Maag’s journey–from finance professional to contemporary photographer–has been shaped by her experiences growing up with undiagnosed ADHD. Her work reflects not only her fascination with natural landscapes but also her embrace of personal challenges as sources of creative strength.
“Photography has become my sanctuary amidst chaos,” said Maag. “With each frame I capture, I am reminded that what society labels a disorder can actually serve as a conduit for deeper insights.”
The collaboration between Maag and the 365 Foundation aligns seamlessly with both parties’ missions: using creativity as a medium for empowerment while fostering community dialogue around diversity and inclusion.
