One of the most commonly used App; WhatsApp is lying in between the subtle discussions with the government on the restructuring of its messaging service. It is unlikely to give up its “Crucial” issues for maintaining its confidentiality standards and by the end of the year, it will announce an Indian head. It also wants a fair and equal chance to succeed for its services in India.

Global head Chris Daniels, in an exclusive interview, stated that they want to keep WhatsApp as it was built, as a place for private conversation likes our houses. On his Second visit to India, he scheduled to meet the IT minister, Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad and also the top official of Reserve Bank of India. He answered all the questions that were emailed to him by the ET.

Law enforcement agencies on a serious issue seek access to WhatsApp data to find out the source of the harmful messages. On this context, Daniel remarked, “relying only on the law enforcement is not enough; whenever there is an introduction to any new technology there is always a need to find out ways to stay safe”.

WhatsApp CEO, Daniel also said that fighting falsification is the job of every stakeholder. He also mentioned that WhatsApp will soon hire a grievance officer and even planning to hire a country cranium soon. While answering the question on data localization he exclaimed that it is “critical that the Indian leaders confirm a fair and equal right to succeed.”
