After the grand success of “Veere Di Wedding “, Kareena Kapoor is coming to the big screen opposite Bollywood’s king SRK in the movie, “Salute”. It is the biopic of astronaut Rakesh Sharma. This pair received great success in their previous movie “Ra.one”. After a gap of long 7 years, they are going to work together on a film.
It has been already heard that Kareena will be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming home production opposite Akshay Kumar. Srk is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie “Zero”. In this movie, Kareena will play the role of Madhu, who is an interior designer and also wife of Rakesh. Shah Rukh will play the role of Rakesh Sharma who is an astronaut.
Rumour has it, both Kareena and Deepika were chosen for this movie and the final decision of casting will be taken after the completion of the final draft of “Salute”. But it seems that fans have to wait to see Deepika and SRK together again in the same movie because Kareena already said yes for this movie. Earlier, it was revealed that only an A-List actor will be cast, hence after Amir Khan’s exit, the makers decided to sign SRK for this role.
According to the DNA report, Kareena was not impressed with the character she was asked to play in the movie because she wanted her character to be as strong as Shah Rukh’s. But, when her demand was met, she signed the film.
In September, the shooting for this movie will start and it is expected to release in 2019. Fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite stars together in the same screen.
