As part of a wider US outreach from his base in Brooklyn, New York, Tim Hayden traveled to Norfolk last weekend to raise awareness of his brand and see how the city compared to some of the other US cities visited so far, New York, Detroit, Atlanta, Nashville and Baltimore.
It was a particularly successful weekend for Hagley West with Hayden selling 231 watches, securing 192 new customers and gaining more than 28,000 new social media followers.

“Norfolk was a mega weekend for us”, explained Tim Hayden. The people we met were absolutely fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again in the future. During his visit to Norfolk, Hayden ran his now legendary ‘Find Tim’ live stream challenge on TikTok to give social media fans the challenge of finding him, with the first person to do so winning a free watch. 151 people came out to find him and said the Hagley West company motto ‘Love Your Journey’.
Owner, entrepreneur and TikTok influencer, Tim Hayden, has had two previous trips stateside, where he traveled to different states, hosting a number of live streams, to his 1.3 million followers.
Hagley West is a UK small business success story set against a really difficult current economic landscape. The business is less than five years old and runs primarily from Hayden’s UK home, with his kitchen doubling as his office. Nevertheless, each year has seen a significant increase in profits and social media following.
