Throughout his academic career, Dr. Bernstein received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and underwent fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology/strabismus at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England.
