Throughout her academic career, Dr. Carr received her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College and went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal Medicine (previously) by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
