Dr. Hamza embarked on his medical journey at Quiad-e-Azam Medical College in Pakistan, later relocating to the United States to complete his AP/CP residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. His post-residency path led him to undertake fellowships in general surgical pathology and selective genitourinary pathology at The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties, is to serve the public and advance the profession of pathology by setting certification standards and promoting lifelong competency of pathologists.

Solidifying his commitment to excellence within his field, Dr. Hamza is recognized as a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
