Subsequently, Dr. Shaw pursued a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville from 2006 to 2010. Later, she undertook a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Baylor University Medical Center from 2010 to 2011.

Board certified in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology, Dr. Shaw is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The mission of the ABR is to certify that diplomates demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skill, and understanding of their disciplines to the benefit of patients.

Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Shaw is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, and the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery.
