A total of 45 civilians have died due to the airstrike.
After the incident, Indian actress Alia Bhatt has made an Instagram post that says ‘All children deserve love. All children deserve safety. All children deserve peace. All children deserve life. And all mothers deserve to be able to give their children those things’. In the end, she also wrote ‘#AllEyesOnRafah’.
Last month, Kareena Kapoor Khan was announced as the national ambassador of UNICEF India. Recently, she shared a photo of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund on social media. Her post says ‘Images of burned children and families emerging from bombed tents in Rafah shocks us all. The reported killing of children sheltering in makeshift tents is unconscionable. For over seven months, we’ve witnessed this tragedy unfold, resulting in thousands of children killed or injured’. The post also says that it is an ‘immediate ceasefire’ and ‘unconditional release of all hostages ’ and also ‘an end to the senseless killing of children’.
