Dedicated to remaining current with evolving pharmaceutical practices, he fulfills ongoing continuing education requirements by completing approximately 30 hours of professional education every two years.
While Raphael values his clinical role, he is equally passionate about expanding access to reliable healthcare information beyond the pharmacy counter. To achieve this goal, he is launching The 5-Minute Pharmacist, a YouTube channel designed to deliver concise, easy-to-understand summaries of the latest pharmacy news and medication updates in less than five minutes. His long-term vision includes hosting monthly live question-and-answer sessions where patients can receive trusted guidance on medications, recalls, and other pharmacy-related topics from a licensed professional.
“I went to school to help people and bring real value into patients’ hands,” says Raphael. “What I really want to do is put pharmacists in a setting where they can do what they went to school for, what they got a magna cum laude for. When you’re doing something that you went to school for and publishing it on a platform to help people, then you put the power back with you and have a more meaningful impact beyond basic dispensing. If pharmacists can break down the latest pharmacy news in under five minutes, patients receive quick, concise information they can trust. I also want to expand this into monthly live sessions where people can ask questions about medications or recalls without having to visit a busy pharmacy.”
Outside of pharmacy, Raphael is pursuing a commercial real estate license while also nurturing a lifelong passion for writing. He is developing concepts for television and other creative media projects, reflecting his interest in education, storytelling, and communication across multiple platforms.
