Atlus and Koei Tecmo just broke the news that the Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be a sequel to the 2016 game. Gamers were expecting a spin-off due to the collaboration of both on a Persona 5 title.

Atlus announces Action RPG persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Game on their new official website and Twitter. The trailer which was uploaded on their social media account and YouTube account gave a glimpse of the action which is in store.

Since the game is developed by Omega Force, the team behind Musou-style action games, Dynasty Warriors so the upcoming game is a sequel from the numbered title and is not a standard persona RPG.

Persona 5 Scramble is set to occur six months after the end of Persona 5. But sadly, the team couldn’t enjoy their summer break as strange things begin to unfold with time and instead f enjoying their break the team had to abandon their plans to save the country.

The fun part is that the gamers’ control is not only limited to Joker’s talent but they have the power to control all the Phantom thieves members, depending on their skills for that battle.

Similar to Omega Force’s other games; this game will also utilize the button smashing Musou-action packed gameplay. The gamers get an opportunity to take on large crowds all at once along with few high powered bosses to face.

The game encompasses a special new physical edition that will come along with the original soundtrack on two discs, bag, Morgana towel, and Blu-ray disc along with behind the scenes footage that includes the creation of the theme song, all packed inside a special box.

Also, the first release of the game accompanies a bonus soundtrack DLC with music that is taken from all four previous Persona games. Gamers get a chance to relive their past favorite Persona games while playing the newest title as the old songs can be used to replace the background music from Persona 5 Strikers.

All the latest information comes following as soon as the news of the Persona 5 Royal was dropped. The Persona 5 Royal has added story content, a new character, and many more additional features.

Atlus plans to reveal much more information during a live-stream on November 4, 8:00 pm JST.

The Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is planned to be released on both the Nintendo Switch and Play station 4 on February 20, 1020, I Japan but the release dates for audiences outside Japan is still unknown.
