According to the latest news, Triband’s golf game for people who dislike golf, What the Golf? was awarded a significant award. What The Golf? Wins Spilprisens Game Of The Year 2020 Award as has been announced by the Danish Game Awards. Moreover, it has also won the award for the Best Game design.

As it goes that the Spilprisen game awards recognize the most creative and innovative games that are being developed by the Danish. The awards are organized by the Producer’s Association, which is an organization for the producers of films, televisions, and also video games.

This year’s that is the 2020 Spilprisen game awards had been held recently via live steam in Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 scenario, there wasn’t any formal awards ceremony being held where everyone could gather in real.

However, the entire ceremony was held digitally thorough Zoom, where each of the nominated studios had a personal green room. And so when a nominee was called out to receive a prize, they had to go out live with some excitement to receive their prize live on the screen.

The official summary states that What the Golf? is quite an amusing sports game. It is a silly physics-based golf parody where every golf course is a new and surprising type of golf. Some of them are brilliant where some are hilarious, and others are so absurd that they would make the players go WHAT THE GOLF?.

Funnily, the title had been made by people who know nothing about golf but the game is intended to simply amuse the players. It consists of several obstacles across the overworld, golf boss fights, and also it’s the First and also hopefully the last game that lets the player’s golf a horse.

However, What the Golf? is not intended to make any player better at playing golf, and is also not an accurate and actual portrait of the sport.

Triband has necessarily bonus for the steamers who want to steam What the Golf? Where the players are asked to start a new campaign and save slots in the settings. Further, they need to play the Streamer Challenge as well. The challenge includes fewer jokes but has also increased difficulties. The Streamers are encouraged to post about their live stream on What the Golf?, Discord channel, and thereby tag the developer on Twitter.

Triband which is a development team based in Copenhagen, Denmark is currently also working on releasing Keyboard Sports- Saving QWERTY, which is scheduled to get a release in 2020 on Steam.

What the Golf?, is currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store and also in mobile via the App Store. However, a Nintendo Switch and Steam release are still pending.
