Ralph, RN, BSN, OCN, a highly experienced oncology nurse with a healthcare career spanning more than three decades, is being recognized for her exceptional contributions to oncology nursing, infusion therapy, veteran care, and patient advocacy. Throughout her career, Ms. Ralph has built a reputation for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a steadfast commitment to helping patients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Ms. Ralph began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, gaining valuable experience in long-term care and private-duty nursing before advancing her education and earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she has served patients in hospitals, outpatient oncology clinics, infusion centers, home healthcare settings, and healthcare organizations across multiple states, consistently focusing on evidence-based, patient-centered care.

A significant portion of Ms. Ralph’s professional career has been devoted to oncology nursing. Since earning her Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential in 2011, she has delivered comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. Her responsibilities have included chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, vascular access management, patient education, symptom management, and care coordination.

Ms. Ralph has served in oncology nursing roles at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, Healthcare Partners, Arizona Oncology, and the Southern Nevada Healthcare System. In these positions, she collaborated closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, enhance the quality and continuity of care, and optimize patient outcomes.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Ms. Ralph has demonstrated strong leadership throughout her career. She has served as a charge nurse, preceptor, care manager, and temporary Assistant Nurse Manager, mentoring nursing staff and helping oversee clinic operations. During her tenure at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, she was honored as Supervisor of the Quarter for her leadership and contributions to coordinating infusion services, telehealth initiatives, and comprehensive care for veteran patients.

Currently, Ms. Ralph serves as an independent Registered Nurse contractor with

Float Health, providing in-home infusion services, medication education, vascular access care, laboratory services, and chronic disease support. She remains actively involved in the

Oncology Nursing Society and the American Nurses Association, participating in professional committees and continuing education initiatives that advance oncology nursing practice.

What distinguishes Ms. Ralph’s approach is her deep empathy and personal understanding of the cancer journey. Having experienced a breast cancer diagnosis herself in 2010, she brings a unique perspective to patient care. She emphasizes reassurance, open communication, and hope, encouraging patients to ask questions and feel supported throughout treatment.

“What I enjoy most is simply being present for my patients and helping them get through each step of their cancer journey,” said Ms. Ralph.
