Academically, Dr. Abramowitz received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1984. Furthering his training, he performed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s – West Hospital Center, his fellowship in hematology and oncology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, and his fellowship in neoplastic diseases and bone marrow transplantation at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
